4th of July, California Strength style!

Most of the guys I coach will be on foreign soil in the near future with a big USA on the back of their jacket, representing this country in competition. In this circumstance, what better way to celebrate Independence Day than to spend it becoming a better lifter? After morning training, we all went to the pool, did a little light swimming, laid out in the sun for about an hour, a little more light swimming then home for a quick nap. Afternoon training was at 3pm, and was a pretty hard practice, with front squats, snatches and clean and jerks. Here is the gang after we all spent the day getting stronger and becoming more ready and capable of representing this great nation in international competition. After this picture, everyone came to Glenn’s house and ate hamburgers and watched the “Rocky” marathon on AMC.

    My 4th consisted of snatches and cleans in the AM, a BBQ, and 5×5 FREEDOM SQUATS in the evening. Go ‘Merica.
