    135lb snatch complex
    190lb power clean

    After being a gym rat and having little mobility I’ve finally made it so I can snatch 135lb with relative ease. Very happy to be here. With a 501lb deadlift and 455lb squat, I’ve looked like a serious noob barely being able to snatch over 100lbs for some time. Feels great to have broken this threshold. Seeing lots of PRs soon.

      Good for you! What types of mobility drills or flexibility work do you think helped the most? I ask because I am alwayse getting questions about shoulder flexibility and snatching, and it seems like I am always recommending the same 2 or 3 stretches or drills…

        I do 3 main ones for shoulders:

        1) Arm behind the back with a band around your wrist. Hand parallel to spinal column

        2) Lying on the floor on your back and arms down at 90 degrees, palms down with some DBs on your wrists to hold your hands down. Hold that position for a few minutes.

        3) Lying on my back with feet on the wall, arms over head and reaching back. I’ll take one arm and use it as pressure to try to push the top of my deltoid in my other arm to the ground. This position also seems to help thoracic flexion and lumbar extension. I’ll lay there going back and forth pushing down on each arm for 15 minutes. I did it for 2 weeks and saw a dramatic improvement in my mobility.

    After dealing with left erector tightness over a 2 month period, im finally pulling relatively pain free after multiple sessions with a Graston aand countless hours on a softball & lacrosse ball. Feeling good and hoping to break plateaus
