No, it probably wont CURE tendonitis. But Lindsay Taylor referred to it as “black magic” even before I told her that Kelly Starret called it voodo. Had a football player preparing for the NFL combine that had been inhibited by tendonitis in his knee for a about 6 months go totally pain free with a greatly improved range of motion in the less than 5 minutes that it took to do this. From what I understand, this originally came from Donny Thompson. It works, try it.

Is it safe to cover the actual patella when doing this for the knee? Could pulling the knee cap tightly into its groove like that cause some irritation?

This worked really well for me. You and Kelly should do a Care and Feeding of the weightlifter book and/or DVD. Thanks

Very interesting video, I train 6 times a week for olympic weightlifting, and lately my right leg has been exhibiting symptoms of peroneal tendonitis, I have a meet coming up in a month and it sucks. Does anyone know how i will wrap my ankle up this way? Just wrap around the foot and ankle leaving out the heel? Thanks!!

Tendioitous is healed through time and proper bio-mechanical functioning. Using ice and cold laser coupled with chiropractic Therapy, rest, and some times orthotics, as well as moderate return to workout is a common therapy. An acronym used to list the remedial treatments in treating tendinitis is RICE: Rest, Ice, Compress, and Elevate. Resting assists in the prevention of further injury to the tendon. Ice is useful in reducing pain, and reducing inflammation. Compression and elevation both perform similarly to ice in their ability to restrict excessive, unnecessary inflammation.

The best treatment I know for tendonitis is stem cell therapy. It is an advanced discovery which was used only for sports injuries earlier but with the latest technology at present, it is made available for us. It is a treatment where the separated stem cells of our own bone marrow been reinserted to the effected area of pain.
I went through this treatment for my hips when I was scheduled for hip replacement surgery!I needed somehow to avoid surgery and this was the only option laid for me and I went for it. It was much less expensive than the cost for the allocated surgery and it worked for me after I went through the treatment period of about four months.
I was glad that I was able to avoid surgery and I know that my orthopedic surgeon, Dr Purita did a great job. I have seen many patients getting this type of treatment for various orthopedic conditions including tendonitis as well.
I hope I could have helped anyone to live life without pains because I know how it is like to live in pain. TC.
